Viking v3 - progress marker

It was 2 years ago that I challenged myself to get back to drawing, to improve my skills and to learn a new tool. So I got a brand new iPad Pro, installed Procreate, and started drawing. For a reason that eludes me now, the first thing I drew was an angry Viking character. Now every year, i do a new rendition with the same character as a marker of my progress. This is this version 3, along with the 2 other ones I’ve made.
Funny enough, last year’s Viking Viking made me very proud and I remember telling myself that I would probably not be able to improve it. This proves that there is always room for improvement. This year is different in the sense that I know it will be better in a year, I just don’t know how so.
